Reflections: Saying goodbye...

Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things we have to do when
we lose someone we love. We don't want to say goodbye, we want to
hang onto them, we don't want them to leave. Whether in living or
in death, it's still hard to let go, it's still hard to see them
suffering, but you know that you've got to let go. You've got to
let go of them in the end. When you let go, only then can you move
on, can you be able to deal with the loss. We all have to let go
of someone, something, we've got to say goodbye. Goodbye is so hard
to do, it's probably one of the hardest things we have to do. We have
to go on without them, we've got to accept.
For acceptance is another thing that we've got to allow ourselves
to feel. We've got to accept that they are gone, that they are no
longer around. You want to hold onto them, onto the memories, you
want to keep them alive in your mind forever. Where you don't want
to feel like your alone, but your not alone, for God is with you, God
is all around you he will never leave you alone. If we say goodbye
then we can put closure on it, we can move on to another chapter of
our lives. It's scary, it's harsh, but it's reality, it's real, when
saying goodbye we won't have to regret it.
We all live with the regret if we don't say goodbye, for we need
to do let go, to let them move one. We can't blame ourselves if things
don't turn out the way we want them to. For God has a plan, a purpose
for each one of us, he might not reveal the answers right away, but they
will fall into place. When we let go, say goodbye we are trusting that
the person will go to another place. We will go to another place, we
will find our own journey, find our own way. We will fall we will get
back up, we will say goodbye.
When we say goodbye in our hearts then we are open to new opportunities
that will come along. We will be able to put the one we say goodbye in
another place, anothe corner of our hearts. Where we will eventually be
able to go to the next level and learn to live all over again. We will be
able to, love, laugh, live. For life is for the living, life is for giving,
for lending a helping hand and know that as you take someone else's hand,
God is taking your's.

We all have been told to start saying goodbye,
Due to what precious time you have with us.
